In short
- Rosterr is a tool. Each workspace makes its own staffing decisions and is responsible for what it posts and sends.
- Paid plans are per workspace, billed monthly in GBP through Stripe, and renew until you cancel.
- You keep what you create. You give us the permission we need to store and show it to your workspace.
- You can delete your account at any time from Settings.
This summary helps you find your way. The full text below is what applies.
01About these terms
These terms cover your use of Rosterr: the website at rosterr.cc, the app at app.rosterr.cc, the public API at api.v1.prod.rosterr.cc, the Rosterr Discord bot, Rosterr Mail and the Rosterr iOS and Android apps (together, the "Service").
Rosterr is run by Mr L F Radford, a sole trader trading as Nebula Technologies, of Suite 751, 80A Ruskin Avenue, Welling, Kent, DA16 3QQ, United Kingdom. "We", "us" and "our" mean Mr L F Radford trading as Nebula Technologies.
By creating an account, joining a workspace or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
These policies are part of these terms: the Acceptable Use Policy, the Refunds and Cancellations policy and the Copyright and IP policy. The Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.
02What Rosterr is
Rosterr is staff management for Roblox groups. Workspaces use it to track activity, run sessions, keep logbooks and moderation records, manage leave, publish documents, hire, and send email.
Rosterr is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by Roblox Corporation or Discord Inc.
03Who can use Rosterr
You need a Roblox account in good standing, and you must be allowed under Roblox's terms to hold the role your workspace gives you.
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, or under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission to buy a paid plan.
04Your account
You sign in with the methods we offer: Discord, Roblox, a passkey, or a QR code from a device that is already signed in. Rosterr needs both a Roblox and a Discord account linked.
You are responsible for what happens under your account. Do not share a sign-in code, a QR code or a session with anyone else. If you think someone else has access, sign out your other devices from Settings > Security and tell us.
05Workspaces
A workspace belongs to the Roblox group that set it up. Its owner and admins decide who joins, what each role can do and what is recorded about members.
Disputes about membership, rank, warnings or other staffing decisions are between the workspace and its members. We provide the tool, not the decisions. We may still act on reports under the Acceptable Use Policy.
The person who creates a workspace is responsible for making sure the workspace has the right to use the group's Roblox API key and data it connects.
On the Business plan a workspace can use its own domain. You must own or control any domain you connect.
06Your content
You keep ownership of what you create in Rosterr: posts, mail, documents, notes, logbook entries, applications and similar ("Your Content").
You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, display and send Your Content, only as needed to run the Service. That includes showing it to the members of your workspace allowed to see it, and delivering mail you send.
You are responsible for Your Content and for having the right to post it. It must follow the Acceptable Use Policy, Roblox's terms and Discord's terms.
07Acceptable use
Do not misuse the Service. The Acceptable Use Policy sets out what that means, including the rules for Rosterr Mail and the API.
We may remove content, limit features, or suspend accounts and workspaces that break it.
08Plans, trials and billing
Rosterr has three plans, chosen per workspace: Free, Pro and Business. What each includes and costs is on the pricing page. Prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and are the total you pay.
- Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.
- A subscription renews each month until it is cancelled. Cancel at any time from the workspace's Settings > Billing. It stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.
- Pro comes with a 30-day free trial on a workspace's first subscription. A card is taken at the start. Nothing is charged until day 30, and you can cancel before then at no cost.
- Business has no trial and is billed from the first day.
- If a payment fails, or a subscription ends, the workspace moves to Free. Paid features pause until it subscribes again. Nothing is deleted because of a plan change, except as set out for custom mail domains below.
- On Business, a custom email domain is paused when the workspace leaves Business and removed from the mail server after 14 days. Stored mail is kept.
- If you dispute a payment with your bank or card issuer (a chargeback) without asking us first, and the dispute is decided in our favour, we may charge a £60 disputed payment fee to cover the bank's dispute charge and our time handling it. We do not charge it if the dispute is decided in your favour, if we made a mistake, or if your card was used without your permission. Please talk to us first: most billing problems are put right with a refund.
We may change prices. We will tell the workspace's billing owner at least 14 days before a change applies to an existing subscription, and you can cancel before it does.
Purchases in the iOS and Android apps (such as Advanced Themes) are made through Apple or Google under their terms. They handle payment and refunds for those purchases.
Refunds are covered by the Refunds and Cancellations policy.
09Rosterr Mail
Where a workspace turns Mail on, its members get an email address on rosterr.cc (or, on Business, the workspace's own domain). The workspace is responsible for the email its members send. We do not write, review or control it.
Mail has sending limits, and we may switch off a mailbox or Mail for a whole workspace that sends spam or abuse.
10The API and the Discord bot
Workspaces can create API keys to connect their games. Keep keys secret. You are responsible for everything done with your workspace's keys. We may rate-limit, revoke or change the API.
The Rosterr Discord bot posts to the channels and sends the messages a workspace chooses. On Business a workspace can run its own bot token, which it must have the right to use.
11Other services
Rosterr works with Roblox, Discord, Stripe, Apple, Google, Intercom and others listed on the subprocessors page. Their own terms apply to your use of them, and we are not responsible for their services or availability.
12Intellectual property
Rosterr, including its software, design, logos and the Rosterr and Nebula names, belongs to Mr L F Radford, trading as Nebula Technologies. Apart from Your Content, nothing in these terms transfers any of it to you.
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service under these terms while your account is active. You may not copy, modify, decompile or reverse engineer the software, except where the law allows it, or use our name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse you. The Copyright and IP policy has the details and how to report infringement.
13Suspension and ending
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Settings > Privacy and data. If you own a workspace with other members, transfer ownership first. The Privacy Policy explains what is deleted and what is kept.
We may suspend or end your access, or a workspace's, if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or if we stop offering the Service. We will give notice where we reasonably can, and refund any prepaid period we end without cause.
14Changes to the Service
The Service changes over time. We may add, change or remove features. If we remove a major paid feature, we will tell paying workspaces in advance.
15Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.
If you use Rosterr as a consumer, you keep your legal rights. Nothing in these terms affects them.
16Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue or data.
Our total liability for any claim about the Service is limited to the amount the workspace or you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or £100 if that is more.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.
17Indemnity
If you use Rosterr for a group or organisation, you agree to cover our reasonable costs from claims caused by Your Content or your breach of these terms.
18Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales decide disputes. If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
19Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. For changes that matter, we will tell workspace owners at least 14 days before they apply. If you keep using the Service after that, the new terms apply.
