In short

  • We use a small number of cookies to keep you signed in. Rosterr cannot work without them.
  • Support chat and Stripe's payment pages set their own cookies.
  • On the home page and in Free workspaces, Google sets cookies for its ads. The ads are never personalised, and we use no analytics cookies.

This summary helps you find your way. The full text below is what applies.

01What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Browser storage (local storage) is similar but stays on your device and is not sent to us. Rosterr uses both.

  • Google ad cookies (such as __gads, __gpi, IDE)

    Set by
    Google
    What it does
On the home page and in Free workspaces: counting and capping how often ads are shown, and stopping ad fraud. Not used to personalise ads.
    How long
Up to 13 months; set by Google

03Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the session cookie you cannot sign in. Blocking Google's cookies doesn't stop Rosterr working; it may stop ads showing.

04In the apps

The iOS and Android apps store your sign-in securely on the device, and the iOS app's support chat uses Intercom's SDK as described in the Privacy Policy.
