Switching guide
Moving from Hyra to Rosterr
Your history comes with you, so switching doesn't cost you years of records. Each file takes a few minutes to import.
The steps
Create your workspace
Sign in with Roblox or Discord and choose your group. It's free, and Pro is free for 30 days, so you can try everything before you decide.
Link your roles to your Roblox ranks
In Settings, Permissions, Roles, give each Roblox rank its workspace role. The import uses this to put each person in the right role.
A rank with no role linked to it is skipped, and the preview tells you which ones, so you can link them and try again.
Export from Hyra
In Hyra, open a View of your staff and export it as CSV. Include the user id, username, rank and hired date columns.
Export your activity, logbook and time off the same way if you want them. Rosterr recognises Hyra's own column names, so there's nothing to match.
Import, staff first
Open Settings, Import, choose Hyra and upload the staff list first. Hyra's logbook names people by Hyra's own ids, and the staff list is how Rosterr matches them.
Each file shows a preview of what will be added and what will be skipped, and why. Nothing is written until you confirm, and nobody is ranked or messaged.
Add the loader to your game
In Settings, Activity, download the loader and put it in ServerScriptService. Activity starts counting as soon as staff join, and staff get the Rosterr panel in game.
Keep Hyra running until you're happy with what you see in Rosterr.
Bring your team in
Share your workspace link with staff: they sign in with Roblox and see their own quotas, sessions and leave straight away.
Add the Rosterr bot to your Discord in Settings, Discord & integrations. If your server uses Bloxlink or RoVer, save its key there too, and the bot knows your verified members without them linking anything.
What comes across
- Staff, their ranks and when they joined
- The logbook: warnings, promotions, demotions and notes
- Time off, pending, approved or denied
- Past activity periods, with minutes, messages and sessions
- Every record is marked as imported, and you can undo a whole import for 7 days
